Walk-In Services

    • Blood Pressure Checks
    • Height/Weight Check
    • Head Live/Scabies Check
    • HIV Screening & Counseling (Service typically requires an appointment - Please call before coming in)
    • Immunizations ~ Vaccine for Children is a federally funded program that supplies vaccine to participating providers. The vaccine may then be made available to qualifying children 18 years and under who are: Medicaid enrolled, uninsured (no health insurance coverage), underinsured (has health insurance but vaccines are not covered), American Indian or Alaskan Native (Immunizations are routinely given on Mondays by appointment)
    • Metabolic Screening (PKU)~ early detection of genetic disorders in newborns
    • Pregnancy Test/Proof of Pregnancy for Medicaid
    • ppd (Tuberculin Skin Test) ~ A return visit is necessary 48 to 72 hours after getting the skin test for reading of the results. No tuberculin skin tests are given on Thursdays.
    • Sexually Transmitted Disease Services ~ Screening, diagnosis and treatment for a variety of sexually transmitted infections (Service typically requires an appointment – Please call before coming in)
    • Titers for proof of disease infection or immunity ~ examples of titers available include varicella (chicken pox), hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, syphilis (RPR). Results available in approximately 10 to 14 days.

    • Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention ~ Comprehensive physical exam with referral for a mammogram for women who qualify by age and income. Service including the mammogram is free to those who qualify.
    • Child Health Check for Foster Children ~ A comprehensive well-health physical exam that meets Medicaid Health Check Program guidelines.
    • Children 1st ~ A tracking program for at-risk children birth to age 6
    • Children's Medical Services ~ An assistance program for Children birth to 21 with chronic medical conditions requiring specialized medical care
    • Family Planning ~ Birth control methods, pregnancy tests, breast and pelvic exams, and screenings for cervical cancer (pap smears) for females to age 50. Fee is based on income.
    • Hearing, Vision, & Dental Screening for School Certificate
    • Immunizations/Immunization Certificates for School/College
    • Presumptive Eligibility ~ Temporary Medicaid enrollment for pregnant women who are income eligible.
    • Sexually Transmitted Disease Services
    • Tuberculosis Screening and Disease Management
    • Universal Newborn Hearing Screening ~ Health department offers second screening for those who did not pass the initial screening in the hospital
    • WIC - A supplemental nutrition and educational program for pregnant and post partum women, infants and children to age 5 who qualify based on income and nutritional risk.
    • Women's Cancer Medicaid ~ Medicaid enrollment for women with breast or cervical cancer who need treatment and qualify by diagnosis, income and age (without insurance)
